IDI LOVE LETTER TO MILAN

IDI LOVE LETTER TO MILAN

Our personal Impressions and Highlights
2025 from the Furniture Fair and Fuori Salone

IDI Team upon arrival at Milano Centrale Station.

Once again, we had the pleasure of spending three inspiring days in Milan as a team. Each year, the city is in a state of exception during the Salone.
We discovered new trends, rare pieces, spectacular designs and innovations that we are excited to share with you.

Historic Chiostro Sant’Angelo

Flexform

"When entering this Monastery, the courtyard revealed a green oasis—an open-air lounge in the heart of the city. It was the perfect stage for Flexform’s timeless outdoor designs."  ~ Kristina Stupp

Of course, the food in Italy is always a highlight.
Aperitivo, pasta and La Dolce Vita included.

Vocla

Restaurant Yapa x Henge Bar
"Visiting the Yapa pop-up at the old slaughterhouse on Viale Molise was an amazing experience. With music, food, furniture and art, a very special atmosphere emerged." ~ Annina Trümpler

Euroluce

Flos / Preciosa
"The variety of shapes, materials and lighting ideas at Euroluce was overwhelming. It clearly showed that light guides the eye and creates emotions, and that light turns spaces into experiences."  ~ Livio Brescancin

Palazzo Molteni

Molteni
"Simply mind-blowing, the new Molteni Temple permanently spans seven floors at via Manzoni. And right opposite on the same street, we admired the installation "A letter to Milan": A unique, poetic fusion of furniture design, architecture, and the city itself." ~ Iria Degen

Rimessa del Ghiaccio

Ross Gardam
„I loved the subtle light comfort and the fresh organic shapes, trendy but timeless.“ ~ Julia Salamon

5Vie

Rive Roshan / Beni Rugs x Studio KO
"A quiet place in the middle of the busy trade fair, set in the unique space of a historic building. An immersive installation where sound and light came together in a creative way." ~ Zoé Ramseier

Nilufar Depot

Nulifar
For its 10th anniversary, Nilufar turned the Depot space into a theatrical installation inspired by the 1970s, using color, curves, edges, and textures.

Baxter Cinema

Baxter
„I was fascinated by the interplay between the products and the space – especially within the unique setting of a former cinema.“ ~ Alissa Brescancin

An unforgettable time with the team – a yearly highlight that brings fresh ideas and new energy. We are dedicated to carry the creativity and good vibes from Milan into our upcoming projects.

Grazie Milano, we love you!
